Services suspended from December 17, 2025, to January 11, 2026

The CCQ is implementing much more than a simple update. It is overhauling its IT systems. However, a transition period is required before the launch of the improved online services on January 12, 2026, to disconnect current IT systems and connect new ones.

This break will allow the CCQ to:

  • Securely transfer data
  • Test and adjust new features
  • Better serve you when the services resume
Key dates

 EMPLOYERS:

  • November 21, 2025: last day for any action or transaction related to the monthly report. To avoid penalties, make sure you are up to date in your payments for periods already submitted. 
  • November 26, 2025: end of enrollments/cancellations for pre-authorized debit (PAD).
  • December 3, 2025: last day to begin your registration for the online services, submit a request to reset your password, or recover your login information.
  • December 12, 2025: last day to submit a service request for it to be processed within the usual timeframe.
  • December 17, 2025: last day to register for upgrading activities.
  • December 17, 2025: online services suspended.
  • December 18 and 19, 2025: customer service will remain available but will only respond to urgent requests.
  • December 18, 2025, to January 11, 2026: the obligation to report workforce changes (new hires, terminations, etc.) temporarily suspended. No penalties will apply.
  • December 20, 2025, to January 11, 2026: regional offices and call centres exceptionally closed.
  • January 12, 2026:
    •   Launch of the improved online services.
    • Reopening of regional offices, call centres, and customer service.
    • Monthly reports for November and December 2025 can be submitted and paid.

Good to know:
On December 18 and 19, 2025, customer service will respond to urgent requests to minimize their impact.

List of requests considered urgent 

  • Provisional Employer Registration
  • Questions about statements of account
  • Questions about site visits
  • Questions about non-compliance reports
  • Issuance of a cheque for the payment of the pension plan for reduced life expectancy
  • Manual issuance of a disability insurance payment
  • Exceptional patients and medication on the MÉDIC direct line (coding, authorization, etc.)
  • An uninsured member who must be manually insured as an emergency in Advantage and not in the central system
  • Issuance of an urgent pension/disability payment
  • Calls from associations
  • Disclosure of confidentiality incidents
 
Other requests to customer service: 

  • Customer service will still be available the week of December 15, but response times will vary.  
  • All requests submitted to customer service after December 12, 2025, will be processed once the services become available again on January 12, 2026. 
 
Insurance: 

The MÉDIC Construction app, the MÉDIC website, emergency medical service abroad, and Construire en santé (PAE) will remain open and accessible during this time.

 

Competency certificates: 

Competency certificates that expire in December 2025 and January and February 2026 will automatically be renewed
