Before the improved online services can be launched, a transition period is required to disconnect current IT systems and connect new ones. This transition period will take place from December 17, 2025, to January 11, 2026. The services will be available again on January 12, 2026.

During this period:

• The online services will not be available.
• Customer service will still be available the week of December 15, but response times will vary. On December 18 and 19, customer service will only respond to urgent requests.
• Regional offices and call centres will be closed exceptionally from December 20, 2025, to January 11, 2026.
• Reminder: Monthly reports for November and December 2025 are postponed to January 2026. No penalties will apply.
• The MÉDIC Construction app, the MÉDIC website, emergency medical service abroad, and Construire en santé (PAE) will remain open and accessible.

Monthly reports for November and December 2025 postponed to January 2026

Because we have to shut down some systems to prepare for the launch of the improved online services, you will need to submit monthly reports for November and December 2025 between January 12 and January 27, 2026. No penalties will apply. 

• Vacation pay for the 2025-2026 holiday period will be paid as scheduled.
• Statements of account for these periods can only be legally required once the monthly reports have been submitted and processed.
• Encourage your employees to track their hours worked and to keep their pay stubs.

The launch of the improved online services coincides with the modernized monthly report! It was designed to streamline the administration and regulation aspects, make compliance and transparency easier, and ensure the process is more equitable for all businesses.

Many regulatory and administrative changes will come into force in the next few months.
