Services suspended: everything you need to know

Services suspended: everything you need to know if you are a worker

Published on November 18, 2025

The improved online services of the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ) will be available starting on January 12, 2026.

More than an update, we are changing our IT systems. It is a major step to implement new features and provide you with an experience that is more user-friendly, quick, and secure.

Before the launch, a transition period is required for disconnecting the current systems and connecting the new ones. This transition period will take place during the holidays, starting on December 17, 2025. The services will be available again on January 12, 2026.

What to expect and what to do before the services are suspended

Access to the online services

  • You will not be able to access the online services or your file from December 17 to January 11.
  • You will be able to log in and take advantage of the improved features starting on January 12, 2026.
  • Don’t have an account? You have until December 3 to begin your registration.
  • If you can’t access your account and want to recover or reset your password, you also have until December 3 to do so.
  • If you already started the process and received an activation code, you have until December 17 to finalize the process. If you do not, you will have to wait until the services are available again in January. Activation codes sent in December will no longer be valid once the improved online services are available in January.
  • Customer service

  • You have until December 12 to submit a service request for it to be processed within the usual timeframe.
  • Customer service will be available the week of December 15 but processing delays will vary. On December 18 and 19, only emergencies will be handled.
  • Requests will not be processed while the services are suspended.
  • From January 5 to January 11, the CCQ teams will continue to work for providing you with high-quality online services to meet your expectations on launching day.
  • Our Vérification and Enquête teams will be on duty as usual during the week of January 5 to 11.
  • Insurance

  • MÉDIC website, emergency medical service abroad, and Construire en santé (PAE) will remain open and accessible during this time.
  • Make sure you have your login information on hand because you will not be able to reset your password while the online services are suspended.
