The improved online services of the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ) will be available starting on January 12, 2026.
More than an update, we are changing our IT systems. It is a major step in order to implement new features and provide you with an experience that is more user-friendly, quick, and intuitive.
Before the launch, a transition period is required for disconnecting the current systems and connecting the new ones. This transition period will take place during the holidays, starting on December 17, 2025. The services will be available again on January 12, 2026. From January 5 to January 11, the CCQ teams will continue to work for providing you with high-quality online services to meet your expectations on launching day.

The obligation to report workforce changes (new hires, terminations, etc.) will be temporarily suspended from December 18 through January 11. No penalties will apply.
The customized referral service on the Carnet référence construction will resume once the online services are available again. Please plan your labour needs ahead of time to ensure your workers have a valid competency certificate.
You will be able to report undeclared activities once the services are available again.
You can also report them before December 17 if you already know the dates in question.
Monthly reports
Important reminder: monthly reports for November and December will have to be submitted and paid using the improved online services between January 12 and 27, 2026. No penalties will apply.
Other key dates:
November 21: last day for any action or transaction related to the monthly report. To avoid penalties, make sure you are up to date in your payments for periods already submitted.
November 26: end of enrollments/cancellations for pre-authorized debit (PAD).
Do you use accounting software or do business with a payroll service? Make sure they are on the list of the CCQ’s approved service providers. The CCQ will closely work with service providers during the transition period.
Statements of account
Requests can be submitted until December 17.
For your employees
MÉDIC website, emergency medical service abroad, and Construire en santé (PAE) will remain open and accessible during this time.
Vacation pay will be paid as scheduled on November 21.
Competency certificates that expire in December 2025 and January and February 2026 will automatically be renewed.
